C5 Petroleum Resin

C5 petroleum resin can be used as a tackifying resin. The most commonly used applications include hot melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, rubber tires, etc. Petroleum resin is suitable for hot melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and rubber tires. They exhibit excellent compatibility with styrene-based polymers such as SIS, SBS, SEBS, SEPS, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and EVA. They also show good compatibility with natural tackifying resins (terpenes, rosin, and their derivatives), leading to varying degrees of improvement in adhesive performance. Petroleum resin demonstrates high peel adhesion strength, fast tackiness, stable bonding performance, moderate melt viscosity, and good heat resistance. Additionally, it exhibits good compatibility with high polymer matrices.

Styrene Modified Resin

Styrene resin is a thermoplastic polymer with high strength, good toughness, and ease of processing and shaping. It is used in the automotive industry, construction materials, wood substitutes, and for making safety helmets, travel cases, tool housings, foam plastics, and more.
